Have you heard of the “myth of happiness”? Most people live their lives striving for those things we were always told to go for. But the irony is that many hugely successful people who have done that and have seemingly everything anyone could want, are not happy.
I was one of those people until about 20 years ago when I had my own personal breakdown. Everything turned upside down. And as I began to repair my life I realized that I had had it all wrong. I was living the “myth of happiness”. I had the I will be happy WHEN kind of life. Happiness was always just slightly out of reach.
I have been a student of the science of happiness for years now and love sharing it in small bits. My hope is that you will find your own “aha” moments from my learnings.
